The major boasts over 300 enrolled students and 9 full-time teachers, including 5 with vice-senior professional title and above. The major aims to cultivate inter-disciplinary application oriented talents commanding basic theoretical knowledge and professional skills on comfortable, energy-saving and environment friendly building environment favorable for living and working of human beings, process environment and artificial environment for special applications, who are competent for technical or managerial tasks in the field of building environment and energy application engineering. Major courses include Engineering Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer, Fluid Mechanics, Science of Building Environment and Energies, New Technologies on Energy Conservation of Buildings, Heat and Mass Exchange Theory and Equipment, HNAC and Testing Technologies.
