Recently, the 9th Joint International Academic Conference on Land Policy SSCI Journals was successfully held in Hangzhou. The conference was jointly hosted by Zhejiang University, the international SSCI authoritative journals "Cities", "Habitat International", "Land Use Policy", and other units, with the theme of "Land System Reform and Optimization of Urban-Rural Development Pattern". Professor Wu Tianyan, Vice Dean of our college, and Teacher He Hui from the Department of Engineering Management were invited to attend the conference. Among them, Professor Wu Tianyan presided over the parallel session on "New Urbanization and Human Settlement Environment", while Teacher He Hui participated in multiple thematic discussions and academic exchanges.

This conference gathered hundreds of experts and scholars from renowned universities and research institutions both domestically and internationally, including Cambridge University, City University of Hong Kong, Peking University, and Zhejiang University, to jointly explore cutting-edge topics such as urban-rural integration, territorial spatial planning, and rural revitalization. It represents a high-level international academic event in the field of land policy and urban-rural development research.

During the conference, Professor Wu Tianyan, as the moderator of the parallel session on "New Urbanization and Human Settlement Environment", engaged in in-depth discussions and exchanges with scholars from Nanjing University and other institutions on multiple cutting-edge research reports, including "Urban Renewal from the Perspective of Land Development Rights", "Smart Transformation of Campus Space Based on Large Language Models", and "Assessment of Inter-Street Space Quality". The academic atmosphere at the venue was strong.

By participating in this high-level international academic conference, I have strengthened academic exchanges between our university and peers both domestically and internationally, timely grasped the frontier trends of the discipline, and provided new ideas and references for the construction of disciplines, scientific research, and talent cultivation in the directions of urban construction, ecological technology, and agricultural policy management in our university.
