On the afternoon of April 25, a delegation led by Professor Bui Tien Thanh, Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering at Hanoi University of Transport and Communications, paid a visit to the Division [of Urban Construction and Ecological Technology]. The meeting was attended by Li Fayun, Executive Deputy Director of the Division; Li Peigang, Deputy Director of the University's International Exchange Office; Peng Yaping, Deputy Director of the Division; Kong Shengli, Deputy Director of the Division; as well as the heads of relevant programs and faculty representatives from the Department of Civil Engineering (within the Division) and the Division of Intelligent Technology.

This visit represents a key initiative by the Division to advance the internationalization of talent cultivation. Li Peigang, Deputy Director of the International Exchange Office, extended a warm welcome to the delegation on behalf of the university and provided an overview of the institution's fundamental profile. Li Fayun, Executive Deputy Director of the Division, highlighted the Division’s distinctive strengths in academic programs, disciplines, and research achievements. He noted that Vietnam is currently undergoing rapid economic development, expressing the hope for in-depth and extensive collaboration in areas such as infrastructure development, ecological governance, and safety training through joint disciplinary development, talent cultivation, research cooperation, and faculty-student exchanges.

Professor Bui Tien Thanh presented an overview of the Faculty of Civil Engineering at Hanoi University of Transport and Communications and highly commended the university’s notable accomplishments in fostering inter-institutional exchanges with Southeast Asian countries. He expressed a strong desire to enhance cooperation with the Division of Urban Construction and Ecological Technology in the domain of short-term study and training programs.

Following the meeting, the two sides exchanged commemorative gifts and posed for a group photograph. Professor Bui Tien Thanh and his delegation also toured several laboratories and the botanical garden within the Division.
